Terms of service
The terms that govern the use of Expogentic.
Last updated 29 September 2026.
Who the agreement is with
These terms are an agreement between Kalkan Networks, a company in the United Kingdom ("Kalkan Networks", "we", "us"), which provides Expogentic, and the organisation that uses it ("you").
The product is for business use. Whoever accepts these terms must be at least 18 and able to bind the organisation they register.
The service
Expogentic is in early access. Access is opened by a person, one workspace at a time, and a login is created only by invitation.
Agents act inside the permission groups a workspace gives them. Outbound email waits in an approval queue, addressed only to somebody on the workspace's trusted list, until a person sends it. The organisation is responsible for what its people and its agents are allowed to do, and for what its people approve.
Your content
A workspace's content stays under its organisation's control, and we process it to provide the service.
You own your content. You grant us only the licence we need to host, process and show it in order to run the service for you. We do not use your content to train AI models.
Fees and payment
Your plan is one of these, as your order form or the pricing page says: a monthly subscription at the published prices for the platform, users and agents, including a starter plan with a minimum term; prepaid credits; or what an order form agreed with you says. Prices are on the pricing page or your order form.
With prepaid credits, one credit is one US dollar. A workspace holds a balance, and seats, workspace agents and sessions draw from it at the rates on the billing page. A seat draws only after a workspace admin starts paying for it. If the balance does not cover a new seat, agent or session, we may decline to add it until more credits are bought.
Prices are in US dollars unless your order form says otherwise. Taxes, such as UK VAT, are added where they apply.
A subscription is billed monthly. Credits are bought in advance.
Fees are paid by invoice and bank transfer. When card payments are enabled, Stripe takes them, and card details never reach our servers.
Ending the agreement
After any minimum term, either side may end the agreement with 30 days' written notice. An owner may give notice by email to the contact address below.
Fees are not refunded for a partial period.
Either side may end the agreement by written notice if the other commits a material breach and does not put it right within 30 days of being told about it in writing.
Service levels and support
The service is in early access.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available and working, and we do not promise any level of uptime. Support is given by email, at the contact address below.
Liability
Our total liability under or in connection with these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Your data when the agreement ends
Nothing deletes a workspace automatically today, and there is no self serve export. Both are done by hand, by our team.
For 30 days after a workspace closes, its owner may ask us for an export of the workspace's data, and our team provides it on request.
We delete the workspace's data within 90 days of closing. Billing records are kept for 7 years, as the law requires.
Changes to these terms
We give workspace owners at least 30 days' notice of a material change to these terms. An owner who does not accept a change may close the workspace before it applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute about them.
Accepting these terms
Your organisation accepts these terms by signing an order form that refers to them, or by using the service.
If an order form and these terms differ, the order form applies.
